An original reference miniature half-Angel/half-Demon statue maquette used during the production of the 2009 Ron Howard film Angel & Demons.
This maquette was created by the production team to help construct the full-scale Angel and Demon statue, which can be seen on-screen during the film.
The statue is depicting both an Angel and a Demon as one being.
This statue has been made from resin, the plinth being finished to resemble stone and
the figure being painted silver at a later date by a professional artist.
Dimensions: 16.75" tall including plinth, with the plinth base at 5.5" x 5.5"
It remains in good production used condition with additional wear from use.
Angels & Demons is a 2009 American action mystery thriller film directed by Ron Howard and written by Akiva Goldsman and David Koepp, based on Dan Brown's 2000 novel of the same title. It is the sequel to the 2006 film The Da Vinci Code, also directed by Howard, and the second installment in the Robert Langdon film series.
Tom Hanks reprises his role as Professor Robert Langdon, while Ayelet Zurer stars as Dr. Vittoria Vetra, a CERN scientist joining Langdon in the quest to recover a missing vial of antimatter from a mysterious Illuminati terrorist.
The film grossed $485 million worldwide, becoming the 9th highest-grossing film of 2009, and received mixed reviews from critics, who considered it an improvement over its predecessor.
