An original production used Beast arm from the award winning Beauty and the Beast (2017).
The film was made usng CGI characters, however the production team also built life size animatronics, make-up and puppets to be moved around on set so they could walk through each scene to get a sense of how it was going to work, these pieces were also used to assist the actors with their performance in reaction to the characters that wern't there.
The Beast character was also originally going to be used as a combination of CGI, animatronics and make-up. A lot of exploration work was done with this, however when push came to shove the CGI team won and the whole beast was eventually created using CGI mapped on a real actor.
Measuring at approximatly 22.5" long it remains in a good condition with minimal additional wear from use.
It is made from a tough foam and has been painted after to create the effect shown in the photographs.
It also comes with a copy of the call sheet and its original production tag that is still attached to the arm.
