An original Vanir shoulder panel used in the production of the BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.
This shoulder panel was created for one of the Vanir, who were frequently seen on-screen in the 1983 story "Terminus" starring Peter Davison as the Doctor.
The panel is made of fibreglass with small holes drilled out for elastic straps that were used to attach it to the actor.
There is a piece of tape attached on the inside of the panel with "MP" wirtten in pen.
It measures at approx 9in x 5.5in
It remains in a good production used condition with additional wear from use.
Terminus is the fourth serial of the 20th season of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who, which was originally broadcast in four twice-weekly parts on BBC1 from 15 to 23 February 1983.
