An original treasure coin used in the production of the 2003 action-adventure sequel Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.
Coins like this were used as part of the vast treasure hoard in Alexander the Great's Luna Temple, uncovered by an earthquake at the beginning of the film.
Made of metal, the coin features a unique cast-in face on one side and a person sitting holding a staff and bird detail on the reverse, painted with a burnished faux-gold finish. It has rough cast edges for an authentic appearance.
It remains in a good production used condition, including some minor wear to the paint finish.
The coin measures approximately 27mm x 27mm
