An original 35mm editing film cel created during production for the 1980 sci-fi classic film Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
The cel features Darth Vader standing on the bridge of his Death Destroyer before the star field visual effects were added by ILM.
It remains in a good production used condition, exhibiting production wear, handling and age.
The cel measures at approx 3.8cm x 2.5cm and has been displayed in a light up frame measuring at approx 7.75in x 7.75in.
The Empire Strikes Back is a 1980 American epic space-opera film directed by Irvin Kershner. Leigh Brackett and Lawrence Kasdan wrote the screenplay, with George Lucas writing the film's story and serving as executive producer. It was produced by Gary Kurtz for Lucasfilm and stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, David Prowse, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew, and Frank Oz. It is the middle installment of the original Star Wars trilogy, and the fifth episode in the nine-part 'Skywalker saga'.
