Original pencil drawn storyboard artwork used in the production of the classic 1989 film Batman starring Michael Keaton.
The Storyboard image features a hand drawn sketch of the lead character Batman and has the annotation "INT Doors of cathedral (studio lot) The doors burst fully open & the Batman enters backlit by the fires 'RAGGED BLACK GHOST' written in black pen underneath.
It remains in very good production used condition.
The storyboard measures 8.25in x 5.75in and comes in a custom display which measures at approx 15in x 12in.

Batman was a financial success, earning over $400 million in box office totals. It was the fifth-highest-grossing film in history at the time of its release. It also inspired the equally successful Batman: The Animated Series, paving the way for the DC animated universe, and has influenced Hollywood's modern marketing and development techniques of the superhero film genre.
