An original Argos soldier’s helmet used in the production of the 2010 remake of Clash of the Titans.

These helmets were worn by the soldiers of Argos. The helmet is made of formed plastic and bears the mark of Argos across its crown.  It has been painted to replicate the look of beaten bronze.

Inside the helmet is an illegible name written in black pen.

Having been well used on production, this helmet remains in a very good production-used condition with additional wear from use. The helmet has been distressed in places, missing its plume, and also missing some of the foam pads fitted internally to aid the comfort of the wearer.

Clash of the Titans is a 2010 action fantasy film and the remake of the 1981 film of the same name produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (the rights to which had been acquired by Warner Bros. in 1996 through its purchase of Turner). The story is very loosely based on the Greek myth of Perseus.

Clash of the Titans was directed by Louis Leterrier and featured an all-star cast such as Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson, and Sam Worthington.

It cost $125 Million to produce and raked in an impressive $493.2 Million at the box office.

It was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Fantasy Film and an Annie Award for Best Character Animation in a Live-Action Production, among many others.
