An original stunt sword used in the production of the  2010 remake of Clash of the Titans.
 
Zeus (Liam Neeson), king of the Gods, is tricked into sending his downtrodden brother Hades (Ralph Fiennes) to Earth to make the mortals fearful of the Gods’ power – never reckoning on the intervention of demi-god Perseus (Sam Worthington) as he fights to save Andromeda (Alexa Davalos), princess of Argos.

This sword and others like it can be seen in the Argos armoury as the warriors of Argos prepare for their quest to save Princess Andromeda. 
 
Made of hard rubber with a soft rubber tip for stunt use, the blade of the sword has thin runnels leading to the guard, shaped like a pair of pincers atop a panelled handle. The entire sword has been finished to appear as though it was made of worked bronze, with faint traces of verdigris on the blade.
 
Having been well used on the production, this sword remains in a very good production-used condition with minimal additional wear from use. The paint finish has suffered some wear and it also contains a small split in the rubber on both sides.

Sword measures approx 26.77" x 3.54" x 2.36" 
 
Clash of the Titans was directed by Louis Leterrier and featured an all star cast such as Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson and Sam Worthington.
 
It cost $125 Million to produce and raked in an impressive $493.2 Million at the box office.
 
It was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Fantasy Film and an Annie Award for Best Character Animation in a Live Action Produciton, among many others.
