An original Dalek gunstick used in the production of the iconic BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

This particular gunstick was created for the Special Effects (SFX) Supreme Dalek featured in the 2008 Series 4 finale, "Journey’s End," starring David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor.

The prop is constructed with a hollow metal tube representing the gun barrel, flanked by six parallel rods (two of which are now missing due to production use). One end of the barrel features a resin nozzle, while the opposite end comprises a resin shoulder connector, designed to fit into the Dalek’s shoulder housing.

  • Dimensions: Approx. 13 inches in length × 3 inches at the widest point

  • Condition: Good production-used condition, with signs of wear consistent with on-set use. Two of the parallel rods are absent.

In "Journey’s End," the climactic conclusion of Series 4, the Doctor confronts Davros and a deadly Dalek plot to annihilate reality itself using the "reality bomb." With Earth displaced across the universe and familiar allies—including Rose Tyler, Martha Jones, Captain Jack Harkness, and Sarah Jane Smith—reuniting to fight back, the stakes reach their peak. A partial regeneration, the emergence of a half-human Doctor, and a bittersweet farewell underscore the episode's emotional depth and lasting impact.
