An original reference miniature dragon head maquette created for the production of the HBO fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones.
 
Miniatures were made by the production team for the sculpt of the full-size version which can be
seen on-screen at Dragonstone castle in season 7. This miniature was a miss cast due to imperfections but made at the time of production.
 
This maquette has been made in two separate pieces, both made from resin, with the dragon head painted gold and the rest painted to resemble the entrance stone wall which has been done at a later date by a production member.
 
Dimensions:  8.5" x 7.5" x 5.25"
 
It remains in good production used condition with additional wear from use.

Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss for HBO. It was based on a series of books created by George R. R. Martin, the first of which was also named A Game of Thrones.
 
Set in the fictional Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and the continent of Essos. The series chronicles the violent dynastic struggles among the realm's noble families for the Iron Throne, while other families fight for independence from it. 
 
It had a vast budget with season six being the most expensive season at 100 Million dollars, followed closely by season 8 at a rough total of $90 Million which made these episodes the most expensive ones in the series and made the show a whole the most expensive in television history to date.
