An original production-made “Sally” face created for Tim Burton’s classic 1993 stop-motion animated film, The Nightmare Before Christmas.

This piece was produced during the film’s original production as one of the many interchangeable facial components used to animate the Sally puppet. While it was never screen-used due to being unfinished at the time, it was later, long after production, professionally painted by an artist to complete its appearance.

The reverse of the face bears the handwritten number “3,” consistent with studio production markings.

The face is cast in resin and measures approximately 1.5" x 1.5" x 1".

It remains in good condition, with minimal additional wear from production use.
