An original production made Superman emblem created for the 2013 Sci-Fi adventure Superman: Man of Steel starring Henry Cavill.

 

This emblem was made by Frontline Design, the company in charge of manufacturing the Kryptonian costumes for 'Man of Steel'.

 

It is made from a foam latex with amazing detail which can be seen throught the whole costume.

 

This piece remains in good production made condition, with additional wear from use. On the back of the emblem are some adhesive marks from where it was previously framed.

Man of Steel is a 2013 superhero film based on the DC Comics character Superman. Produced by DC Entertainment, Legendary Pictures and Syncopy, and distributed by Warner Bros.

 

It is a reboot of the Superman film series that portrays the character's origin story. In the film, Clark Kent learns that he is a superpowered alien from the planet Krypton. He assumes the role of mankind's protector as Superman, making the choice to face General Zod and prevent him from destroying humanity.

 

Man of Steel was released in theaters on June 14, 2013, in 2D, 3D and IMAX. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film became a box office success, grossing more than $668 million worldwide. Critics praised the film's visuals and Hans Zimmer's score but criticized its pacing and lack of character development. A follow-up entitled Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released on March 25, 2016.

It also comes a copy of the email correspondence from Frontline Design comfirming this emblem was produced by them.
