An original Gotham City Police Department badge made during time of production for the Christopher Nolan 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises.
These police badges were produced in numbers for Dark Knight Rises and were on the uniforms of all of the cops in the street fighting scene.
It is an unfinished piece made from resin and painted silver, measuring approximately 2.25" x 4" x 0.25".
Despite some additional wear from use, it remains in good production condition.
The Dark Knight Rises is the final installment in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy and serves as a sequel to The Dark Knight (2008). Starring Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, the film follows the story of Batman's return to save Gotham City from the terrorist Bane and prevent nuclear destruction. It grossed over $1 billion worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing Batman film to date and one of the top 10 films of 2012 according to the American Film Institute.
