This is an original production-made Mangalore hand created for the classic 1997 science fiction action film, The Fifth Element, directed by Luc Besson.
Designed for use by the Mangalores, aggressive alien mercenaries who appear throughout the film, this prop hand is crafted from foam and measures approximately 9 inches by 7.5 inches. It remains in good overall condition, exhibiting minor wear consistent with production use.
