This is an original pair of screen-used Cop gloves from the production of Luc Besson’s iconic 1997 science-fiction action film, The Fifth Element.
 
These distinctive gloves were worn by members of the futuristic police force featured throughout the movie. 
 
Constructed from black leather and fitted with a custom-made metal spike detailing, the gloves began life as standard gloves before being extensively modified by the film’s costume department. The intricate craftsmanship and use of mixed materials demonstrate the high production values that helped define the film’s bold, futuristic aesthetic.
 
Dimensions:  approx. 11 inches in length.
 
They remain in good production used condition with additional wear from use. Please note that one glove is missing the spike section, and the other has some significant damage to the lower part.
 
Set in the 23rd century, The Fifth Element follows cab driver Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis), a former special-forces major who becomes humanity’s unlikely saviour after crossing paths with Leeloo, a mysterious being who holds the key to stopping a cosmic threat. With its imaginative design and striking visual identity, the film has become a cult classic of the sci-fi genre.
