This is an original pair of screen-used Cop boots from the production of Luc Besson’s iconic 1997 science-fiction action film, The Fifth Element.
 
These distinctive boots were worn by members of the futuristic police force featured throughout the movie. Inside each boot are two handwritten production labels — one marked “Jaswant Singh” and another “Richard G” — identifying performers who wore them during filming.
 
Constructed from black leather and fitted with custom-made metallic toe caps, the boots began life as standard footwear before being extensively modified by the film’s costume department. The intricate craftsmanship and use of mixed materials demonstrate the high production values that helped define the film’s bold, futuristic aesthetic.
