An original production made unfinished Jack Skellington (Chris Sarandon) head created for the Tim Burton's classic 1993 stop motion film, The Nightmare Before Christmas.
This head was made during production as one of many different interchangeable heads used to change their expressions and sync dialogue. It was unfinished and so not screen used and was also painted at a later date after production by a professional artist.
It remains in a good production used condition.
There is a small piece of metal inserted into the head underneath for it to be easily attached to the neck. It measures approx 1.5" x 2" .
The Nightmare Before Christmas was release in October 1993 and was nominated for two Academy Awards.
It was produced by Tim Burton and Denise Di Novi and was based on poem written by Tim Burton while working as an animator on a Walt Disney animation.
It cost a modist $18 million to produce and claimed a box office total of $76.2 million.
