An Original 1960's ITC (Incorporated Television Company) reel of film from the hit TV series "The Prisoner", starring Patrick Mcgoohan.
On the begining of the reel reads Living In Harmony (Prisoner) # 1-6 English 73
The information recieved from the previous owner states that reels of this kind were distributed around the world for different countries release. It is believed that this film was sent to Australia, for viewing out there.
The reel measures at approx 14.5" diameter and appears to be in a good condition, but it remains untested due to not having the right equipment to view it.
ITC is best known for being the company behind many successful British cult TV programmes during the 1960s and 1970s, such as The Saint, The Prisoner, Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons to name a few.
It was also the production company for The Muppet Show and Julie on Sesame Street which were both made at ATV's Elstree Studios and distributed in the UK by ATV and in the US by ITC.
The Prisoner is a 17 episode British TV series that was released in the UK on 29th September 1967.
The series is about a former secret agent who is abducted and imprisoned in a mysterious coastal village, where his captors try to find out why he resigned from his job.
The final episode 'Fall Out' recieved a Hugo Award nomination for best drematic presentation, but sadly lost the award to 2001: A Space Odyssey.
