An original screen used miniature printed portrait of Mr. Toad from Toad Hall that was featured in classic British stop motion animated television series The Wind in the Willows (TV Series) 1984-1988.
This miniature picture of Toad can be clearly seen in Seasons 2, Episode 1 'Winter Sports'.
The Picture measures approximately 4" x 3.5" and remains in a good production used condition with minimal additional wear from use.
This piece has been printed and backed onto thick card and has been studio antiqued and distressed to give the patina.
The wind in the Willows was a stop motion TV series that was based on characters from Kenneth Grahame's classic story of the same name.
It was made by the animation company Cosgrove Hall for Thames Television and was shown on ITV.
It starred David Jason and Peter Sallis and ran for 5 seasons, with a total of 65 episodes, winning a BAFTA and an international Emmy award during its run.
