An original screen used entrance gate from Toad Hall that featured in The Wind in the Willows (TV Series) 1984-1988.
These gates are clearly seen in series 2, episode 1 'Winter Sports'.
They are constructed of wood and metal components with cast resin crest's, expertly assembled into a 2-pieced hinged gate, each side featuring a 'Mr Toad' crest central to the panel. They have been studio painted and finished to appear as wrought iron with gold metal accents.
The gates measure at approx 46cm Wide (Hinge to hinge) x 43cm High (to top centre) and are in a good production used condition. One of the gate's is missing part of the crest, but this does not diminish the astetics of this item.
The gates come in a custom display which measures approx 25.25in x 23.25in x 3in.
